Permission Slip for Self-Care
A Free Expressions Creative Wellness & Self-Care Group Session
Self-care can be hard to practice when we feel guilty slowing down, asking for support, setting boundaries, or making space for our own needs. Many people know they need rest or care, but still feel like they have to earn it first.
This free Expressions session offers a gentle, creative way to explore self-care through a permission slip activity. Participants will reflect on what they may need to give themselves permission for — such as rest, support, joy, boundaries, imperfection, or taking up space.
This session is not about artistic skill or creating something perfect. The focus is process over product: slowing down, reflecting, and using creativity as a tool for wellness and self-awareness.
