About Me
Hi, I’m Nicole, a Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS).
I’m a case manager passionate about helping teens, pre-teens, and young adults navigate life’s challenges with confidence, humor, and support. I enjoy seeing clients thrive on their own, whether that’s a middle schooler building social confidence or a young adult finding clarity and direction in life’s transitions. My approach blends warmth, directness, and collaboration, creating a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
What I tend to focus on
-
I help teens navigate friendships, social challenges, and peer dynamics while building confidence through humor, validation, and supportive guidance. I pay close attention to body language, openness, and willingness, celebrating those “ah-ha” moments when a client realizes a solution on their own.
-
I guide young adults through personal and professional transitions, helping them clarify actionable next steps and connect with the resources they need. I prioritize creating space for clients to feel independent while still supported, and I love witnessing the pride and confidence that come when they reach their goals.
-
Across all ages, I focus on building genuine rapport and using humor and collaboration to help clients feel understood and capable. The most meaningful moments are when clients recognize their own growth and feel proud of the progress they’ve made.
How I Help
I work at the client’s pace—direct and independent while offering support, flexible to individual needs within a session structure, and always insightful. Together, we create clarity, build confidence, and develop skills for both social and life challenges. When my support is effective, clients feel truly understood, capable, and independent, ready to navigate friendships, decisions, and life transitions with confidence.
What Clients Often Experience
Clients often notice that I really listen and don’t judge, making challenges feel manageable. They appreciate that I understand humor and personality, helping them feel at ease while building skills and clarity. Many experience those “aha” moments where insight clicks, leaving them empowered to apply it in their daily lives.
More About Me
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my family and outdoors. I love volleyball, crafting, and spending time with my dog, Bisquit. These activities help me recharge and stay grounded so I can bring my best self to every session.
