About Me
Hi, I’m Erin, a Counselor Trainee.
I’m a calm, warm, and approachable provider who believes that healing, growth, and change are possible when the work is desired and effort is put in. I strive to create a steady, gentle space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges. I’m energized by helping clients build confidence and witnessing the moments when insight clicks into place — those shifts are what make this work deeply rewarding.
What I tend to focus on
-
I help clients reconnect with their inner steadiness, recognize their strengths, and challenge limiting beliefs. The shift I value most is seeing someone move from self-doubt to standing more confidently in who they are.
-
I support clients through periods of change, uncertainty, or feeling stuck, helping them gain clarity and move forward intentionally. I focus on reflection, insight, and thoughtful pacing to empower clients to make choices that feel authentic and sustainable.
-
I help clients develop a calmer, more grounded internal experience. By noticing patterns, triggers, and emotional overwhelm, I guide clients to slow down, respond rather than react, and feel steady in their daily lives. One of the most meaningful moments is when clients realize they can manage their emotions rather than feel controlled by them.
How I Help
My therapeutic style is steady and reflective, balancing direct guidance with flexibility based on client needs. I view clients as experts of their own lives and situations, and I aim to empower them through insight and counseling techniques. When therapy is working well, clients often experience greater emotional regulation and the ability to move forward with clarity.
More About Me
Outside of my role here, I recharge by reading, spending time with family and my two dogs, Poppy and Ransom, going to the movies, and bowling.
